5 Things To Do on a Girl’s Weekend in San Diego
San Diego is a perfect place for a quick weekend escape with a couple girl friends. San Diego offers so many different types of adventures, it makes it easy to please any type of girl. Our weekend in San Diego was one filled with Mexican food, rooftop bars, sunbathing on the beach and taking an obnoxious amount of touristy photos.
What to do:
1. Take a Pub Bike Tour of Downtown
Our weekend in San Diego started with a party bike tour around the city. A pub bike tour is almost exactly how it sounds, essentially a bar hop on a large bike. It is also a great way to see a good amount of a city if you will only be there for a short time. We took the downtown tour, which brought us down the main streets of downtown San Diego and through the Gaslamp district. We loved the Gaslamp district so much we ended up staying after the tour finished. Our favorite bar of the tour was Moonshine Flats. If you like country music, drinking games and great atmospheres, this bar might be for you as well!

2. Attend the Hard Rock Hotel Pool Party
The next stop on our list was the Hard Rock Hotel. Every Saturday, the Hard Rock Hotel puts on a rooftop pool party. This is about as San Diego as it gets. If you really want to live large, grab a VIP section and some bottle service.
3. Get Brunch at Breakfast Republic
If you love brunch (which lets be honest, if you’re spending a girl’s weekend in San Diego then I’m sure you do), then this place is a must! You’ll know you’ve arrived by the cute egg seats located outside. Here they have all the mixings for a successful brunch before taking on the rest of the city. If you’re like me, that means an eggs benny, some cold brew coffee and a mimosa… or two.
4. Take a Spin around Pacific Beach
Pacific Beach offers a wide range of entertainment both during the night and during the day. Go during the day to catch some rays on the beach, but stay past sunset to bar hop down the rooftop bars lining the beach. Depending how long you want the night to last, you can stop in at Shore Club for a Redbull slushy and some pretty nice beach views.
5. Visit Coronado for the Day
Coronado is a beautiful Island right next to San Diego, just a short drive over the bridge. It is a great place to spend the day. There is so much to do, I would plan to spend the entire day. You can grab lunch, walk around downtown, go shopping, rent bikes for the day or enjoy the perfectly manicured beaches.
